We’re looking for persistent, driven, smart and hardworking sales superstars!

 

As an Entercom Account Executive you will work for some of the best radio brands the Bay Area has to offer.  The Game has the ability to sell play by play and features for three major sports teams:  the Golden State Warriors, , the Oakland Raiders and the Oakland A’s!  Our station provides our Account Executives with the ability to reach a wide array of prospects and at the same time, help Bay Area businesses grow their business!

 

In this position, you would be asked to solicit, present and create long term relationships with a focus on the development of custom advertising campaigns for clients that integrate our audio, visual, digital, text / mobile and experiential assets. Candidates must have the ability and desire to develop new business, and must possess strong communication skills.

 

We will provide the training tools and products to make you and our Sales team the best prepared and most competitive sales organization in the Bay Area.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Already have a complete contact list of local buyers in the San Francisco/Bay Area

  • Have as complete a contact list as possible of local buyers in the San Francisco/Bay Area

  • Be prepared to "hit the ground running" with their contact list

  • Spend at least 50% of  work time engaging in sales and solicitations outside of the office

  • Proactively prospect and perpetually grow their contact list

  • Build business from advertisers who have local marketing budgets ​

  • Build Entercom’s presence with local and spot buying agencies

  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets

  • Engage and strategize with senior level executives on the client side to demonstrate how Entercom can help meet their objectives

  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFP's

  • Participate in and represent Entercom at local sales ​at local industry events

  • Work with Marketing and Advertising Operations to ensure the client's needs are met

  • Stay current with online advertising trends and innovations

Qualifications:
  • Some Sales experience preferred.

  • Cold Calling & Proposal Writing Expertise a plus

  • Ability to follow directions and willingness to be coached

  • Excellent Organizational & Time Management Skills

  • Excellent Follow-Up & Follow through

  • Tenacity, Accountability, Drive, Will to succeed, Creativity, Confidence, Passion Social Media Knowledge

  • Access to an automobile required

     

In this sales position and you must have a strong work ethic, be resourceful and possess a daily desire to pursue the thrill of uncovering a customer’s need, solving it, and developing long term win-win relationships. This is not a passive sales environment. Those who possess the desire to learn, challenge themselves, and achieve revenue goals can earn a very healthy living!
