Assistant Promotions Director

JOB FUNCTION: Assist in the execution of the radio brands’ promotional and marketing efforts.


Assist in execution of on-air promotions, contesting, and events  

Assist in stations’ social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Assist in VPromotions software management to keep all departments on the same page

Assist in writing on air copy and digital copy

Assist in executing sales packages and making event recaps

Manage the hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of the part-time promotions team

Manage station remotes and appearances; managing prize inventory

Assist in event website management

Assist in receptionist coverage and prize drawer audits  

Implementation of department processes

Maintain all promotional/event equipment and vehicles

A minimum of two years of radio, promotions or management experience is required. Must have strong organization skills with an attention to detail, and the ability to work on and lead a team. Must be able to meet physical demands of job and availability to work odd hour station events. Must have a positive personality, drive, and creativity. Must have great customer service skills. Must have valid driver’s license.
