Entercom New York is seeking part-time Board Operators for our 3 powerhouse FM music stations: CBS-FM 101.1, FRESH 102.7, and 92.3 ALT. Candidates must already be living in the New York area and be available to work overnights, holidays and weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Responsible for producing all on-air transitions, which includes
running the broadcast board, following station format, arranging
and playing commercials and IDs according to the program and
commercial logs, and following applicable laws and FCC
- Assist with listener contests and phone calls.
- Experience with Audio Vault is preferred.
- This position is a critical role in the on-air execution of the station
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in radio preferred; familiarity with station format required. Must be able to perform with little supervision; familiarity with FCC rules and regulations preferred. Production and remote broadcast experience is a plus. Must be available to work overnights, holidays, and weekends. High school diploma required; college degree in media-related major preferred.
This is a part time position—hours vary per week
