Description:
  • Filming
    • Lead a video shoot from conception to completion
      • Developing concepts, acquiring proper equipment
      • Setting up a set: all equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio, props
      • Ability to execute a shoot in multiple environments
    • Editing
      • Edit videos made to specs using appropriate station voice and assets
        • Creation of station assets
        • Color correction
        • Audio correction
        • Branding assets
        • Provide multiple cuts for web and socials
    • Administrative
      • Working with entire cluster, including: web content producers, PDs, jocks, sales reps, to provide quality video content.
      • Secure and maintain all video equipment
      • Maintain an organized archive of all video production
      • Keep a detailed log of all video production, and maintain a detailed video production calendar
      • Lead a team and delegate work
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
  • Advanced camera operation; DLSRs and camcorders
    • Understand F-stop, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, S-log
  • Advanced audio capturing, experience with broadcast audio
    • Experience using different mic types (SM58 vs lavalier vs boom)
    • Line levels vs mic levels vs +48
    • Experience using audio recorders such as a ZOOM
  • Know how to setup lighting for multiple situations, interview vs performance vs out in the field
  • Advanced video editing
    • Assembly, editing
    • Color correction
    • Audio correction
    • Understand codecs
  • Can handle multiple projects, fast paced environment
  • Ability to tell a story through video
Preferred Skills:
  • Real world experience working on a variety of sets
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience working with radio broadcasts
  • Experience working with artists/celebrities
