Entercom Miami’s sports stations have a rare opening for a host/reporter that could serve both 790 The Ticket and 560 WQAM. We’re looking for someone who is opinionated, but can back it up with facts. Entertaining, but entertaining doesn’t always mean funny. You’re a great storyteller and you know sports from all angles. And, you understand the lifestyle of a South Florida sports fan. As reporter, you will cover games in South Florida and gather sound to feed to the stations for all shows to use. This portion of the job will include working weekends and nights. The Ticket and WQAM have an aggressive event schedule, and the host of this show is expected to participate. Strong digital media skills are required, as you will be posting regularly on the stations digital platforms.
3-5 years Top 20 market sports talk show host experience required. Strong knowledge of South Florida sports scene; present and past. Has covered and reported on a variety of sporting events, including hosting pre and post-game shows. Proficient in editing sound digitally using programs such as Adobe Audition or Audacity. Strong social media presence.
